As Joyner Lucas preps for the release of his Not Now, I’m Occupied album, the rapper releases his most current offering “Best For Me” showcasing Place rap and singer Jelly Roll.

Backed by Jelly Roll’s soulful hook, Joyner touches on the turmoil of a strain relationships from addiction and everyday living struggles.

“Living in hell, warned you when I gotta depart, like how can I breathe?,” he raps. “And how you gon’ explain to me addiction’s not a disease? Fuck do you necessarily mean? / If it is not a disorder, then why has it gotten to me? It’s not what it seems / But you constantly be makin’ me experience like the problem’s me.”
